The first Australian Scalpel Free Vasectomy Clinic was established by Dr. Raj Selvarajan in Mackay in 2014. Dr Raj has since gone on to set up clinics in Brisbane and runs all the clinics in Mackay, Burpengary East, North Lakes and Springwood.

Training and qualifications:
Dr.Raj is UK trained, completing post graduate surgical training with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001. Dr. Raj’s commitment to mastering vasectomy techniques is evident in his pursuit of knowledge from world-renowned experts in the field. He had the privilege of visiting and learning from Dr. Michel Labrecque in Quebec, Canada, a distinguished practitioner with over 35,000 successful no-scalpel vasectomies to his credit. Moreover, Dr. Raj refined the vasectomy technique introduced by Dr. Laurel Spooner, a trailblazer in the UK’s no-scalpel vasectomy field and participated in Annual Peer Reviewed Audits in the UK.
